Description

Scope of Application: ARYSE® hinged knee braces are designedto treat cartilage/meniscus tears, chondromalacia of the patella, fractures of the patella, fractures of the tibia and/or fibula, knee instabilities, knee ligament derangement, multiple sclerosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, valgus knee, and varus knee, among others. If you’re a Medicare beneficiary, you can buy a hinged knee brace at minimal cost.

Features: Universal, supportive frame, adjustable range-of-motion (ROM) settings, lightweight, breathable, and comfortable.

Product Materials: These hinged knee braces are made up of aluminum, polyester, ethylene-vinyl acetate, copolymer, nylon, spandex, silicon, polyester, and polyoxymethylene.

Directions for Use:
These hinged knee braces are available for both the left and right legs.
• For valgus correction (leg bowing in), wear a brace on the inside of the affected leg
• For varus correction (leg bowing out), wear a brace on the outside of the affected leg

Wear Instructions:
1. Unfasten and loosen straps
2. Align the hinge with the center of the involved knee joint
3. Starting with strap 1, secure and fasten straps in numerical order. Each strap may be
tightened further by cutting straps and reattaching fasteners
4. Use allen wrench provided for varus/valgus adjustments to hinge

Directions for Setting ROM Hinge:
1. Use the screwdriver provided to loosen/remove screws on the outside of the hinge
2. Insert stops to customize flexion/extension degree. Place a stop on the posterior (back) side
of the hinge for the desired degree of flexion and place a stop on the anterior (front) side of the hinge for the desired degree of extension
3. Reinsert screws into the hinge cover to hold stops in place

The range-of-motion settings are customizable with the included block kit but should only be adjusted by a medical professional.
